What Happens If I Send a Report Without Any Signal?

For a report to be sent the device from which it is being sent needs to have an Internet connection, either via WiFi or via mobile data. There are times however where having an Internet connection is not possible or practical, but Reportal has this covered!

You can fill out a report without an Internet connection but when you click “Submit”, the app will check to see if one is available. If it is then the report will be sent as usual. If not however, the app will display a message telling you that it couldn’t be sent and it will ask you if you want to save the report to the device to be sent later. If you choose to do this, you’ll see a number appear next to the Outbox icon; this number shows the amount of stored reports waiting to be sent.

Once you have an Internet connection, you can go to the Outbox page and you’ll see a list of un-sent reports. Each has a send button which can be tapped to send the report. As soon as it has been sent successfully, it will be removed from this list and from the device just as if it was sent in the first place.
